At Lagan Valley Island, we are well known for the superb standard of service provided to our customers. Our staff are dedicated to ensuring your event goes smoothly. Every event is a team effort and we have a seamless communications process in place between all departments ensuring everything runs like clockwork. From the moment of enquiry to the day itself, we will be there every step of the way. 

We aim to achieve an overall satisfaction rate of 75% in regular surveys carried out with our customers. We are always keen to receive feedback and suggestions for improvements from our customers so do not hesitate to get in touch with your comments. 

The Facilities Management Team at Lagan Valley Island is made up of:

The Facilities Manager

Our Acting Facilities Manager Uel is there to oversee the complete running of the building and the operation of all events.

Duty Officers

The duty officers - Sandra, Susan, Russell, Elaine and Carole will be your point of contact during your event. They are on hand at all times throughout your event to ensure you have everything you require to make your event a success.

Porters

An essential part of the team, the porters George, Mark and Oliver will set your required room up according to your specifications. They will be there on the day to assist the Duty Officers in their role.

Receptionists

Our friendly team of receptionists Beverley, Victoria, Colleen. Tracey, Kerry, Joanne and Gillian are your first point of contact on the telephone. They are also based on the ground floor Rotunda and are happy to help, should you have any queries on the day.

Concierge

Our concierge - Mark will be the first point of contact for those attending your events. Greeted by a friendly face with a welcoming smile, your delegates and guests will be guided effortlessly to their destination.

Booking Team

The professional and experienced booking team - Elaine, Sarah and Frazer are there to take you step by step through the booking process, ensuring a truly successful and memorable event. 

Marketing Officer

Our marketing officers Joanne and Paul promote the venue for all event types - conferences, meetings, theatre shows, concerts, wedding receptions and banquets. If you have any queries relating to marketing, do not hesitate to contact them. 

Catering Team

The Catering Team lead by our Catering Manager Melissa are dedicated to providing you with the perfect combination of catering options for your event.

Technicians

Our technicians Cathal, Tim and Ritchie are available for your event to provide the necessary support and back-up to ensure your event runs smoothly. With years of experience in a wide range of fields, you will be in very good hands.
