Create a series of botanical cyanotypes on Irish linen and textured papers, inspired by the season, using autumnal leaves and plants.
Cyanotype printing is an alternative photographic process which is also known as sun print or blue print. It is a simple technique to learn that leads to stunning effects, and can be used to make prints for hanging, using in card making or collage works.
Through experimentation, using both daylight (hopefully some sunlight) and UV lamp, you will see this magical process in action - and get to create prints in beautiful Prussian blue on both paper and fabric.
