LAGAN VALLEY ISLAND

We are delighted to welcome our valued audiences back to the Lagan Valley Island and we hope you enjoy your visit.

Our COVID-19 protocols and requirements have been updated in line with the latest guidance from the Northern Ireland Executive, and this document contains the latest information: please read it carefully and share it with all other members of your party. If you booked tickets on behalf of someone else, please forward this information to them.

The Northern Ireland Executive has removed social distancing restrictions for theatres, and we will therefore be operating at full capacity.

You are strongly recommended to take a Rapid Lateral Flow test before coming to the Lagan Valley Island. Lateral Flow tests are free and provide a result within 30 minutes at home.

Please note that if you or a member of your party are displaying COVID-19 symptoms or are required to self-isolate, please do not come to the venue.

What to expect at the Venue - COVID-19 safety measures

Face Coverings

Although wearing a face covering is no longer a legal requirement, they are still strongly recommended when attending an indoor venue.

By wearing a face covering you are showing your support and consideration for others and playing your part to prevent transmission of the virus.

Scanning of tickets

We have introduced contactless scanning of tickets to reduce touchpoints and physical interactions. On arrival, please have the barcode on your phone or ticket ready to be scanned.

If you are unable to access your e-ticket please email our Box Office: Lvi.reception@lisburncastlereagh.gov.uk.

Hand Sanitising Stations

Hand sanitizing facilities have been provided at entry points and throughout the venue.

Enhanced Cleaning

Working with our cleaning partner Mount Charles, we provide an enhanced cleaning service throughout the venue and focus on areas with high touchpoints.

We remind all visitors of the importance of washing your hands with soap and water when you can - this is the most effective way of cleaning your hands.

Toilet facilities are located on each floor of the venue and will be cleaned regularly as part of our enhanced cleaning procedures.

Ventilation

LVI uses 100% fresh air, which is heated or cooled as required by the air handling units to a temperature calculated and controlled by the building management system.  There is no recirculated air used within the ventilation systems. This is in line with current Government recommendations around ventilation.

Windows and doors will also be opened where possible to provide additional natural ventilation.

Theatre Events - Scanning of tickets

We have introduced contactless scanning of tickets to reduce touchpoints and physical interactions. On arrival, please have the barcode on your phone or ticket ready to be scanned.

If you are unable to access your e-ticket please email our Box Office: Lvi.reception@lisburncastlereagh.gov.uk.

Bar Facilities

There will be no bar facilities until further notice.

Our safety measures remain under constant review and will be adjusted in line with the latest guidance.
